Analyst notes about Peter G Peterson Foundation

One of the funniest Social Security privatization propaganda ideas I've come across: "With a $325,000 inaugural grant from the Peter G Peterson Foundation, the National Academy of Public Administration and PETLab, a joint initiative of Parsons The New School for Design and the nonprofit Games for Change, will develop a "Big Fiscal Game" to be played on the physical space of college campuses around the country. The game, designed to be played by 30 to 500 students at a time, will educate them about the extent and causes of the country's looming fiscal crisis, and will model the policy and budget trade-offs involved."

Peter G Peterson Foundation The purpose of Peterson's foundation: "to warn Americans of a looming economic apocalypse if the nation persists with a culture of 'entitlement'." The AARP "fears that it could be a thinly veiled argument for the privatisation of welfare." (Guardian, UK, 2/18/08)
