Analyst notes about Goldman Sachs
kevin  James J Schiro, the new lead independent director of Goldman Sachs, used to be the CEO of Goldman's auditor, PricewaterhouseCoopers.
kevin   was not aware of this history between Ford and Goldman:

"(In 1956, Mr. Weinberg put together a plan that allowed Henry Ford II to take his company public -- raising $650 million and retaining 40 percent of a new class of voting stock in the process. It was a brilliant piece of financial engineering, and cemented what has become arguably the most personal relationship between a Wall Street firm and a public company.)"

Pablo  Goldman Sachs Group Apologies if Matt Taibbi's (Rolling Stone) post "Goldman Busted Again" is redundant here, but I am still learning to use LittleSis and don't find it.

The post: http://trueslant.com/matttaibbi/2009/08/2...

Summary: "The people who are actively innovating on Wall Street are all involved in the business of gaming the system to take advantage of short-term price swings. The people who invest money for the long-term and stick with their investments are punished in this environment."
Kyle  Goldman Sachs Group Don't miss the the report covering the key role of Bob Hormats, Obama’s recent nominee for undersecretary of state, in the stock offering of PetroChina, a company linked to Sudan’s genocidal regime. http://blog.littlesis.org/2009/07/21/new-...
